Welcome To EDS-Kids
EDS Kids is a support group and community dedicated to helping children and young adult who suffer from chronic pain resulting from illnesses and genetic conditions like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS for short) is a genetic connective tissue disorder which primarily causes chronic joint pain and joint dislocations. EDS Kids is a community dedicated to helping not only sufferers of EDS but their family and friends too.
No one is in trouble, we just want to make sure that you all are aware of our language policy. In the rules and regulations it states:
1. No Cursing / Foul Language
Please keep in mind that we have some younger members on the boards and we would like for them to stay with us!
Here is the deal, if you're going to curse or use foul language, please bleep it. (I hope you know what I mean by that!) IF you are a member of the adult forum we will let cursing and foul language go. We feel that once you are 18+ you may say what's on your mind, but you must keep it in the adult forum.
Any questions, please ask away!

Thanks for taking the time to write this Gwen.
Timeless, we will help you out if you have any questions of what words are allowed and which aren't. That was a very good point to bring up by the way.

I never even thought about the cultural difference in foul language. I know how to cuss in several languages, but it totally slipped my mind about the difference.

Ha. Cultural difference in language is veryyy tricky. Sometimes, a word might slip out of my mouth and please excuse me if it happens. But I will try my best to not let it happen!

Yeah. Everyone's cultural is different. Like here in the USA the north and the south are quite different. Things they say in the south can be a insult to us norther-ners. But we all usually just laugh about it at the end of the day!
