Welcome To EDS-Kids
EDS Kids is a support group and community dedicated to helping children and young adult who suffer from chronic pain resulting from illnesses and genetic conditions like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS for short) is a genetic connective tissue disorder which primarily causes chronic joint pain and joint dislocations. EDS Kids is a community dedicated to helping not only sufferers of EDS but their family and friends too.

its been rather quiet on here...
So how the heck is everyone doing? What have ya'll been up to?

I've just been insanely happy getting to know the new guy in my life I'm very excited about him and he's none other than our very own Timeless. So thats pretty much the happy and exciting stuff going on with me.

On a not so fun note, I saw my neurosurgeon again yesterday and he brought up the ugly surgery word again and its looking a little more likely that I may have to get my spine fused.

The only other things I've got going is that I'm leaving for Baltimore on Monday and I'll hopefully be seeing Brittany that night, and I'll be seeing Dr. Francomano next tuesday on my 21st birthday

Ooh congrats Stace ! about the relationship not the spine fuse.. that sounds a bit scary.
Sunset, we don't need no stinkin men! :p maybe..

I've been pretty good, I'm still battling an infection thats keeping me from getting surgery, but nothing major! Sorry no ones really here to keep the chat going in the forums. I've got msn that i'm on every day if you want to add me

sorry about the infection, what surgery are u waiting for if u dont mind me asking?

ive been gd, my infection in my mouth has gone finally, just got the root filling to get through that im having next month got a long weekend because it's easter, mmm i can smell the chocolate now! lol

ooooh Staci!!!

um...i've been in an autoimmune flare for what three weeks now??? It went away after I was on steroids for a week and now it seems to be back...hopefully not for long!

Katherine, what was the infection in your mouth?
Because my reason for asking is, last week I had to go to the doctors because one morning I woke up with ulcers everywhere in my mouth and down my throat. It was really hard to swallow and I had to take this awful medicine to clear it up.
They called it the calsacki virus. apparently you can catch it just like a cold and you get tons of ulcers, etc.
