Autism Spectrum Disorders

I was just wondering if there was anyone else with an ASD and if they knew if there was a link between the AS and EDS. I got the EDS from my dad's side and he also has Asperger's syndrome. I have an older brother with severe low functioning Autism and severe EDS. My older sister also has severe EDS and was recently diagnosed with Asperger's. I also have EDS and Asperger's. Out of nine children four have EDS and out of those four three have an ASD.

Your thoughts?

Hello! Glad to have you here!

And- really I don't know many people with EDS & Aspergers but I do know it's possible.

Hope that helped your question!

Hey there!

I have Asperger's myself...was diagnosed around age 20.

I have heard of a link but Dr. Francomano said that ASD is so common there will never really be a way to tell.

Hey Steph-
How do you like Dr. Francamono?
I am filling out paperwork to see her now, and hoping to get an appointment ASAP.
My geneticist is an jerk, and does not help my emotional stability AT ALL.

You think she would be better than what I have?

YES YES YES.

I love her. I'm having so many problems I might have to go back though As much as I love Dr. F, it's usually bad stuff that lands me in her office...

What are the symptoms (if that is the right word) for a low ASD?
