Well, no matter how much I sleep or rest, I'm still really tired. On the weekend/hoilday, I try to catch up on sleep and I end up sleeping for like 11/12 hours, then about after a couple hours, I will be tired again! Why does this happen?

who knows, but l get that to... however l got tested for the usual suspects because of my dads diabeties tho the tests never revealed anything to worry about.
its prolly woth mentioning to a doctor but l tend to find that sometimes its just lack of sleep catching up, boredom, or you havent eaten enough sugar to keep you wired lol

The same thing happened to me. The doctor took a ton of blood and diagnosed me with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Thyroid problems can lead to exhaustion no matter how well or how long you sleep. I know when I forget to take my thyroid medication I sleep all day.

I asked a friend about this last night (his mum is a doctor, so he knows a few bits and pieces) and he said it might be cause i'm stopping doing as much exercise which is boring me and making me more tired. My mum once mentioned this to me so I'll talk to her again at some point.

Yes...my doctor told me that our bodies are constantly fighting pain and are constantly fighting to stay together...and that our muscles work in overdrive to compensate
And plus POTS/Dysautonomia can make a gal hella tired too as can a bunch of other stuff.
If your fatigue is getting to be severe and if you're sleeping more than your grandmother ;) please see your doctor!

As you are saying that you are taking too much rest still you feel too much tired. In such situation i think you should get the treatment from doctors. You should take exercises to get relaxed.
I love sleep and I can lay in bed all morning if I didn't have to work. It seems I'm less tired in the summer and warm weather months when I spend more time out in the sun. It seems like the sun energizes me where as in the winter, the sun can be hidden behind clouds for days and even weeks.

On weekends all i seem to do is sleep, sometimes after school i have to have a nap before thinking about doing coursework. I was tested for thyroid problems but came back clear and the doctor told me i just has serious fatigue because the pain doesnt let me sleep proply

Ugh! I hate when I get like that which has been fairly often lately, due to my knees and back hurting all the time and making me not get the best rest I could possibly get.

I've read that a TON of people with EDS also have chronic fatigue.
School is really tiring for me, half the time I have to take a nap after school. A lot of times I'll have to fight to stay awake during a boring math lecture, which is not good for me because I'm a teacher's pet and my math teacher's favorite student. :hmmm

You're her favorite SLEEPY student :) I tend to snooze though class too and I sit in the front row...my profs can't usually tell when I'm conked out though.

I'm half dead when I come home...since my accident i come home in even more pain every day. I should do my work during the day but i keep procrastinating!

With college, and dealing with my EDS, and the weather changing I have found myself to be even more tired than my usual amount of tiredness associated with my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Ugh. I feel like I sleep ALL the time!

Yeah I've been really tired lately but apparently I have a low lying infection which is causing there to be white blood cells in my urine. Plus...it's almost winter which makes everyone tired I think ;)
